Had an awesome meal and an awesome waiter. Best Greek place we've eaten in BR and I'm picky. Rod was our server and he was very helpful and knew the menu well. Will come back again... Shwarma salad : 4/5 fried goat cheese : 4/5 service : 5/5.... P.S. ask for Rod!

It's pretty good Greek food. The chicken shwarma is yummy along with the feta salad and hummus. I couldn't care less about the rice pilaf. They so have whole wheat pita which is a plus for me! The restaurant itself had NEVER been full every time I've been in there. The service is pretty good. The portions are huge. It's a good stop for lunch.

Serop's is probably my favorite Greek restaurant to dine at in the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. This place is very good. I love the pita bread and hummus, the gyros, and the Greek feta salad. The food served here is fresh, hot and delicious. The servers are pretty attentive and assess the customers needs. The portions are pretty massive and you can almost share just about everything. Come here hungry. Leave here very full.

Loved the feta salad from the vegetarian platter. The waiter was nice. The grape leaves didn't taste like they had enough stuffing in them though and the portions were kinda small, but not to the point where you would feel ripped off. Overall, it was an ok experience.

This is the Bocage/Towne Center/Corporate location. First time here in quite some time. Staff and service has always been polite and efficient. But like all Lebanese/Middle East type restaurants I ordered the same thing---schwerma and/or gyros. This visit the food was a little dry and the hummus a little thin, which is atypical from the times I have been here in the past so I assume this was an off day. Another thing to mention about this location was its menu--they provided each of us a sheet of paper which I guess is considered "off menu" items however this sheet of paper was well-used----this suggests to me that they have been offering these items for some time. These off menu items seem to have more fish type selections so it looks like Serops is diversifying its offerings.

The food here is great and is it in the upper tier of all of the Lebanese restaurants in the area as far as food quality and taste goes. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The servers are OK, but the place is understaffed, so they are easily swamped. Despite trying their best, they become overwhelmed when the restaurant is busy. As far as the food goes, the chicken shawarma is juicy and flavorful -- not dry and tough like at some restaurants. The hummus is creamy and the perfect consistency of chick peas and tahini. The tabouleh is fresh and tangy like it should be. The fish kabobs are large portioned and perfectly seasoned. No issues at all with the food!

I really enjoyed my meal, which was a lamb gyro with hummus, pita bread and cheese salad. It was delicious. Service was fast and prompt.

Very good!! I ate the chicken shawarma plate and it was amazing just like in Saudi Arabia where I grew up! The fried eggplant was a bit greasy but in all fairness it was fried. Flavor was perfect though.

I'm here fairly regularly for lunch as I work nearby. The food is great and the service is fast. They get really busy for lunch so they need to be quick! I recommend the Mediterranean hummus, gyro salad and Lebanese tea. I love the Lebanese tea here, it tastes so good!

Best Lebanese food in Baton Rouge. All of their locations are always delicious. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. The combo plate is my favorite. Their portions are a great size. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

Their Mediterranean Piccadilly style buffet combinations are incomparable though. They have somewhat extended themselves, but to consistently put out quality cabbage rolls, grape leaves, and tabouli, that is a feat. Don't miss the mujadrah

The wife and I have been craving a Chicken Shawarma plate for weeks and finally had an evening to try Serops Cafe on Corporate Blvd in Baton Rouge. We had our plates prepared as take out and brought them home. The restaurant appeared clean and service seemed adequate, though there were only two other single patrons there. The food was very good and hit the spot. Neither of us could finish the plate. My only complaint is that the pita seemed to have been removed from a bag, lightly warmed and packaged to go. We were here on August 5, 2013.

I Love Serop's! I eat there about 6 times a month! I thrive on the Mediterranian Salad With chicken. I get the chicken crunchy. It's cut from the edge. There is never a problem with Sammy to give me what I want, the way I want it. They have an extensive menu which includes great seafood. I cannot say enough about a great restaraunt that I have been eating at for 12 years. Just go and see what I mean. If I eat there for lunch, my wife ALWAYS knows where I ate lunch that evening!

First off, I love all food, especially Greek/Mediterranean/middle eastern.....but the food and service here was just horrible. I had the lamb dinner. The lamb itself was pretty good, although the proportion was very small. Most of the plate consisted of the most horrible rice I have ever had. So plain. The green beans were plain too. Then we had to wait forever for the check. The owner and waiters were so preoccupied talking to all of the other customers (all over the age of 60) that they didnt care about us. I have heard from others that this is the place to go, but I will not be going back.

good: The waitress was amazing. When I asked about the Lebanese Iced tea she brought me a glass of it to taste! The fried cheese appetizer was very good and the vegetarian platter I ordered had just the right amount of delicious foods to make me feel like it was a buffet. The greek salad was really nice as well. bad: I wish that there had been a few more vegetarian options.

Will definitely eat here again. Very quick service, excellent for a lunch meeting, and the food was delicious. I went with the schawarma salad, and it was the perfect amount of food, packed with plenty of flavor.

Great place for lunch. Very fast if your on the go during lunch time. What i usually get is the chicken shawarma medit. salad which never fails for me. I was never rushed so overall good experience for me to keep coming back when I'm in need for a quick lunch

This restaurant is conveniently located down corporate and seemed to be the perfect place to grab some lunch to go. Boy, was I wrong. The chicken shwarma was so dry and overcooked. It was barely edible. The falafel was also dry and crumbly. Overall, I was really disappointed with this experience. Maybe the food is better if you dine in, but I won't be going back. In a town full of Greek & Lebanese, you need to be better than the other guy.

Great casual Middle Eastern food. Who knew some of the best in the country was located in cajun central, in Louisiana?!

Eggplant!!! Ok, you're probably thinking what is this girl screaming about an eggplant for. Well, I looooove eggplant so when I saw that under the Meat Mousaka Plate, I knew that I was going to order that dish! Here's the description I pulled from the website. Meat Mousaka Plate. Baked eggplant in tomato sauce, topped with sauteed vegetables, ground beef and onions, served with hummus, rice pilaf and salad. $9.95 The dish came to our table steaming hot and it had pretty good portions for the price (but it was still a little bit expensive for me). The eggplant was delicious!!! I couldn't stop eating it because it wasn't too mushy, too salty, or too bland. One word, PERFECT EGGPLANT! However, one, I did wish there was more eggplant, two, I didn't care too much for feta on my ground beef. Feta cheese? On ground beef? Definitely not my thing. Besides, I already had Feta cheese on my salad which came in a separate big plate! The hummus was ehh, I had better elsewhere. Overall, great experience, great service, and I love the ambience! It was definitely a place where business people were stopping in for lunch. But I came in with a tshirt and shorts. =) I'll definitely come here again!

Always great food. Been there dozens of times and it's one of the things I miss the most about not living in BTR anymore- not have Serops whenever I want. There are several choices ot eat Lebanese in BTR but this is the best. 1) Nice atmosphere 2) Decent staff 3) Excellent and consistent food. One of the best salads you will find anywhere, great shawerma, great rice. Fish is great here as well. 4) Fair prices for what you get. 5) Also good iced tea! Do yourself a favor, come to SEROPS!

When I compare this place to their other store in downtown, which is complete awesomeness, it makes me sad and mad at the same time! This place smells horrible when you walk in - dated and gross, mostly always empty. The food is sad too. My chicken shawrma salad was bland, with a watery dressing , huge chunks of lettuce that I had a hard time eating and the chicken itself did not taste fresh what so ever., totally disappointed! Albasha Greek just a few minutes away is a much better option if you are feeling greek. What's more, I did not like my spinach pie either - it was hard like it had been sitting out for too long! Additionally, even with take out the server was super curt and not interested. Will try not to come back here..

Really good Chicken Schwarma, but the salad dressing on the Greek salad totally lacks flavor and is usually wayyyyy over-cheesed with nasty salty feta cheese which I don't care much for but the dressing tastes pretty much like oil and vinegar and nothing else so I don't care for the salads here. They also use the very tough, woody and unpleasantly flavored outer leaves that should be thrown away in their salads. Their hummus is nice, a little runny but good flavor but it needs more garlic and less lemon and the pita bread is nice with a choice of white or wheat. The rice is also quite good as I tasted it but didn't eat it (I don't eat rice or bread other than to taste it) but the real star here is the chicken schwarma which is MUCH tastier than the one on Perkins I am sorry to say because the one on Perkins is closer to me. The last time I was there, I got a pound of the chicken which I thought was WAYYY overpriced at $18 per pound, but when I got it home, I discovered that there was at LEAST 2 pounds of yummy chicken and ended up getting 5 meals out of it, so it was a much better buy than I had originally thought and it is SOOO VERY GOOD that it is all I ever order. I'm somewhat embarrassed that I've never had anything else but I'm weird person when it comes to that. Most people go to a restaurant and then decide what they want to eat. I decide what I want to eat and then I go to the best place for what I want which in the case of Chicken Schwarma is THIS particular Serops locatkon. Nice people, acceptable service and reasonably priced makes this place an ongoing winner in my book.

I found this to be very high-quality Greek food! The service was fast and friendly. We dined there on a Sunday afternoon so it was rather busy, but our food came out in a timely manner, plated and heated to perfection! I am a huge fan of the gyro plate...I simply cannot go to a Greek place and not eat a Gyro...that just completes the whole experience, since that is their specialty meat! I rarely order chicken schwarma plates because I am always afraid my chicken is going to come out dry and I can eat chicken at home, so it is always the gyro plate for me...with hummus & salad...PERFECTION!!

I've eaten in this restaurant and gotten take-out and either way you slice it, this restaurant is awesome! Food is always hot, never warm (even with take-out) and very fair priced. Their hummus tastes just like mine that I make at home. They cook healthy by not over salting their food. They leave that decision up to the patron. I have ordered the following from them: Dinner entrees - all come with that OMG so yummy feta salad: - Combination of Shrimp and Fish Kebabs entree (this one is my absolute fav so far) - Chicken Allamand - Chicken Florentine - Chicken Marsala - Chicken Scallopini (another one of my favs) - Chicken Shawarma Plate - Shrimp Scampi (which I asked the cook to put over Angel hair pasta for me instead of the rice pilaf, and he gladly did with no hassle or extra charge) - Broild Fresh Fish Fillet (tried it with both sauces and both were so yummy) Appetizers: - Hummus - Hummus Deluxe (ooooo this one is so goooooood) Desserts: - Baklava (for the $2.95 price, the portion was too small to me so I won't order this again due to that fact. But the actual flavor of the dessert was YUM!) Thier rice pilaf has pine nuts (which i love) and green peas in it and the rice is cooked perfectly as are the green peas. Sometimes restaurants that put green peas in their rice end up overcooking the peas and they're dry and shriveled but the chef in this restaurant knows what he's doing! The greenbeans they serve are crisp-tender with a light pepper spice to them with garlic and a touch of salt, very yummy. The feta salad that comes standard with all entrees consists of green lettuce (either romaine or green leaf) and a roma tomato slice with sprinkled crumbled feta cheese on the top with some sort of dressing that is out of this WORLD! No restaurant I've eaten at has a better salad than this one, no matter what type restaurant it is. It's always fresh too! Only one minor setback I had with this restaurant awhile back was that they forgot my pita bread with my order one time but since then they have never forgotten it. I just always double-check that from now on. They will make any substitutions that you might ask for, as far as I have seen. Very accommodating!! As for the flavor of the food, it definitely tastes authentically lebanese and everything I listed above was very yummy! I have never been disappointed. I still have a lot to try from their menu but so far everything has been exactly as their pictures from their website show and as the menu lists it and extremely delicious. I will definitely keep eating here! I never had to wait to be seated and when I order take-out, it's ready to go in 20 mins. like clockwork! Good prices; good, fast service with a smile each time; hot food, ...what more could you ask for at dinner time?!

Great food. Cabbage rolls were great, chicken shwarma was very tasty. Sammy, the owner is a very likeable and visible operator. To me, that is a good thing to see.
